We are seeking a skilled and motivated Immigration Paralegal to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting our attorneys, managing casework, and ensuring an exceptional client experience throughout the immigration process.
Responsibilities
- Conduct initial client interviews to gather relevant information.
- Assist in the preparation and filing of immigration petitions, applications, and supporting documentation.
- Maintain communication with clients, government agencies, and other stakeholders.
- Conduct legal research and stay informed about changes in immigration laws and policies.
- Prepare and organize case files, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Manage deadlines, case calendars, and provide timely updates to attorneys.
- Respond to Requests for Evidence (RFEs) and other inquiries from immigration authorities.
- Assist in the preparation of clients for interviews and hearings.
- Collaborate with attorneys to develop legal strategies for various immigration matters.
Must Have
- Bachelor's degree and/or paralegal certificate from an accredited institution.
- Previous experience as an immigration paralegal.
- Knowledge of immigration laws, regulations, and procedures.
- Strong organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
